Accredited to

by the Security Systems & Alarms Inspection Board. (SSAIB)
DD243: This means the alarm systems software
is up-to-date with the ACPO guidelines.
ACPO: The Association
of Chief Police Officers set out rules alarm companies
have to abide by if an alarm system activates and signals to a
monitoring station. The stipulation indicates that there must
be TWO alarm sensors of different technologies set off by an intruder
before the monitoring station can place a call with the police.
The stipulation also indicates that if the
alarm is monitored the customer MUST turn OFF the alarm with a
proximity tag to reduce accidental alarm activation's.
In accordance with ACPO & Environmental
Health Services the external bell must stop ringing after a duration
of 20 minutes, the bells strobe & internal sounder may continue
to activate until a valid code is entered, further that, the system
may rearm itself up-to 3 times and proceed with these settings
over again.
All of the above is standard practice within
the security industry and any alarm system installed by us will
automatically have these features integrated.
